Role Summary
This position serves as the foremost authority on marketing principles, strategies, and methodologies.

It necessitates a proven history of success in crafting and implementing strategic marketing initiatives within the wine industry.

The Senior Vice President of Brand Strategy is knowledgeable in areas such as innovation, market analysis, consumer insights, branding, advertising, and both social and digital marketing.

The role involves the formulation and execution of strategic marketing plans for over 50 wine brands, alongside driving innovation through a series of new brand introductions.

Experience in managing a budget exceeding $15 million and fostering significant relationships with suppliers, media, and other stakeholders is essential.


Key Responsibilities:
ALL Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

  • Direct the marketing team in executing integrated marketing campaigns across diverse channels, including digital, social media, events, and traditional marketing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between marketing strategies and overall business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences within the wine industry.
  • Manage marketing budget effectively, ensuring ROI on marketing investments.
  • Oversee product marketing efforts, including new product launches, packaging design, and pricing strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, influencers, and media partners.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize marketing initiatives.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in the market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an MBA is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing roles within the wine industry; at least 5 years as a Marketing Director.
  • High proficiency with Business Intelligence tools such as Nielsen and Cognos.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Proven track record of leading successful marketing campaigns and initiatives that have driven business growth.
  • In-depth understanding of the wine market landscape, consumer behavior, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies.
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team of marketing professionals.
