About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate angiographic equipment to perform diagnostic procedures, including biopsies, vascular stenting, and embolization.
  • Assist physicians with basic interventional and surgical procedures, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Monitor patients and respond to life-threatening changes in patient status, applying defibrillators and performing CPR when necessary.
  • Process images, ensuring diagnostic quality and accuracy, and assist with equipment maintenance to maintain consistent image quality.
  • Compare requisitions to physician orders, verifying exam accuracy and completeness.
  • Post-process images, labeling and identifying patient information, and document patient and study information in the radiology information system.
  • Maintain accurate records, adhering to regulatory requirements and ensuring accurate patient charges.
  • Perform patient positioning and transporting duties, utilizing proper technique and lifting up to 50 pounds from the floor to waist.
Requirements
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA), obtained within 6 months.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA), obtained within 6 months.
