Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to enhance our operations in Tennessee. This role is pivotal in providing engineering support to our maintenance and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safety and efficiency in restoring product flow.
- Deliver technical solutions to persistent design and process challenges.
- Analyze equipment and process data to pinpoint improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement solutions and system enhancements.
- Oversee capital projects, major repairs, and maintenance initiatives.
- Provide process engineering support as needed.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- At least 2 years of experience in the electrical engineering domain.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with manufacturing processes and principles.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in ladder logic and experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), particularly Rockwell and Allen Bradley systems.
- Familiarity with DC and AC motor drive systems, including installation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with networking equipment and automation communication.
- Knowledge of power distribution systems.
- Background in manufacturing, particularly in the metals industry, is advantageous.
- Experience with rolling mills, shears, and metal processing equipment.
- Technical expertise in electrical controls and automation technology.
- Previous involvement with data acquisition systems and analytics.
- Proven ability to manage and execute capital projects.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
