Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Crisis Clinician 2 to join our team at Marion County. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will play a critical role in providing assessment and treatment services, crisis intervention, and treatment services to individuals and their families with complex needs and diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessments and treatment of individuals and families, including groups, to address urgent/crisis situations.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to help clients stabilize in the community.
  • Work closely with community partners, including Salem Hospital and Marion County Jail, to address crisis situations and provide support services.
  • Manage a caseload of clients with diverse needs and diagnoses, providing brief therapy and community outreach as needed.
  • Complete clinical record documentation in a timely and professional manner, meeting performance expectations for time and billing standards.
  • Participate in diversion program meetings, provide case reviews, and discuss potential clients and services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree in nursing or occupational therapy with licensure.
  • One year of post-master's degree experience in the behavioral health field, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Must be licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers, or credentialed or registered through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preference will be awarded to candidates who are LCSW, CSWA, or eligible for LCSW.
Working Conditions

This is a safety-sensitive/special needs position. Final candidates selected for this position will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen, including testing for marijuana.

Benefits

Marion County offers a generous benefits package to regular employees working 50% or more of the regularly scheduled work week and their eligible dependents. Temporary employees and part-time regular employees working less than 50% of the regularly scheduled work week are not eligible for benefits.
