Work Schedule: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays.
Compensation: $18.75 per hour based on experience plus a monthly incentive bonus.
Signing Bonus: $1,000 ($500 after three months of employment and an additional $500 after six months).
Role Objective:
The individual in this role will be responsible for managing member accounts that are in a negative status. This position primarily addresses initial stages of delinquency, providing education to members regarding Overdraft Privilege and Overdraft Protection options. Additionally, every employee is dedicated to our Mission Statement: To enhance the financial well-being of our members while delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with members who have negative share account balances via phone and mail; take necessary actions to rectify their accounts.
- Reach out to members with overdue loans and implement appropriate measures to bring their accounts current.
- Report members to Chex Systems for account misuse.
- Monitor accounts with negative balances for payment and prepare for potential charge-offs if payments are not received.
- Contribute to the department's collection objectives.
- Maintain minimal levels of negative share accounts.
- Educate members on Overdraft Privilege options.
- Provide information to members regarding Overdraft Protection alternatives.
- Understand and apply the Bank Secrecy Act as necessary.

Qualifications:
Experience Required:
- One to twelve months of relevant experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D. is required.
- Familiarity with office equipment including Xerox machines, computers, calculators, and Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This position is based in an office setting. While performing the duties of this role, the employee may frequently need to: see, speak, hear, and perform repetitive motions with arms, hands, and fingers to handle, feel, grasp, and reach. Standard office tools such as computers and phones are utilized. Specific vision abilities required for this role include close and distance vision. The employee may occasionally need to: climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds may be necessary at times.
