- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, engineers, and trade workers to ensure a smooth hiring process.
- Logistical Planning: Plan, coordinate, and lead the execution of all logistical elements for on-campus and conference marketing efforts.
- Event Representation: Represent The Boring Company at university, trade, and D+I recruiting events, showcasing our company culture and values.
- Internship Management: Manage the company internship program, including full-cycle internship program initiatives, year-round.
- Candidate Sourcing: Source and screen candidates to fill requisitions, ensuring a diverse and talented pool of applicants.
- Onboarding: Once candidates are approved for hire, initiate the HR onboarding process, including background checks, reference checks, and offer packages.
- Problem-Solving: Identify problems and recommend/implement solutions to improve the recruiting process and candidate experience.
- Training and Development: Train managers and employees on recruiting and interviewing best practices, ensuring a consistent and effective hiring process.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of recruiting experience, with a focus on technical recruiting.
- Skills: Experience working in a start-up environment, OFCCP rules, in-house recruiting, and recruiting electrical, mechanical, and software engineers.
