As a Sr. RF Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing the RF systems that will enable our Starlink satellite constellation to provide fast and reliable internet to millions of people around the world.
As a member of our RF engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, from designing and testing phased array antennas to developing and implementing RF front-end systems. You'll collaborate closely with our electrical, mechanical, and software engineering teams to ensure that our RF systems meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated RF engineer who is passionate about solving complex technical problems and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. If you're a talented engineer with a strong background in RF engineering and a desire to make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
- Design and develop RF systems for our Starlink satellite constellation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure RF system performance and reliability
- Develop and implement RF front-end systems and phased array antennas
- Test and validate RF system performance
- Work closely with senior leadership to influence the fundamental operation of our constellation and network
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or other relevant field
- 5+ years of professional experience in RF engineering
- Strong background in RF theory and antenna design
- Experience with radio test equipment and programming languages such as Python and C++
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in electrical engineering or other relevant field
- Experience with phased array antenna design and development
- Knowledge of RF active and passive components
- Understanding of link budgets and analysis related to communications
Additional requirements:
- Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed for mission-critical deadlines
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, autonomous environment
