At SpaceX, we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible in manufacturing. We're seeking a talented Manufacturing Specialist to join our team and help us establish new manufacturing and test processes for our Starlink satellite constellation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design for manufacturability and testability
  • Optimize production workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and reliability
  • Work closely with engineers and technicians to resolve production issues and ensure design integrity

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of SMT and PCBA assembly equipment and processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in an engineering, math, or science discipline
  • 4+ years of experience with SMT equipment operation in a production setting
  • Direct experience with SMT equipment maintenance and support
