  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of products and report needs to the Manager to ensure efficient ordering and supply management.
  • Payroll and Scheduling: Manage employee time sheets, submit payroll for approval, and create and maintain monthly staff schedules.
  • Incident Reporting: Follow Wash My Dog protocol for incidents and emergencies, ensuring a safe and secure work environment.
  • Closing Procedures: Count register money, document credit tips, and ensure the salon is clean and secured at the end of each shift.
  • External Services: Assist in managing external services, including towel service, maintenance, and internet connectivity.
  • Volunteer and Intern Coordination: Assist in coordinating hours and training for volunteers and interns.
  • Quotas and Performance: Ensure the team meets daily grooming, daycare, and puppy play time quotas, maintaining high levels of performance and productivity.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years of previous experience as a dog grooming technician or a similar role, and at least 2 years in a management position.
  • Skills: Comfortable working with anxious animals, good organizational and leadership skills, ability to stand for long periods and lift large dogs over 60 pounds, willingness to learn new techniques, and strong attention to detail.
  • Language: Spanish speaking is a must.
