OVERVIEW

Our headquarters provides essential support functions such as finance, human resources, and IT to ensure operational excellence.

The IT Regional Security & Compliance Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing security measures and compliance protocols across our operating companies in the Western United States. This position will be performed remotely, allowing for flexibility while ensuring adherence to corporate security standards.

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000

Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus in accordance with company policy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing expert guidance and support to ensure compliance with corporate security and IT policies.
  • Monitoring and reporting on security metrics for both headquarters and operating companies.
  • Ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures across all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborating with executives and IT teams to address risk mitigation strategies.
  • Traveling up to 50% to various operating companies within the Western US.
  • Offering technical support to subsidiary IT staff to resolve security issues.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with IT personnel across diverse teams.
  • Participating in security and compliance meetings with corporate and segment teams.
  • Leading discussions on security performance and requirements with operating companies.
  • Coordinating responses to security questionnaires.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in security and compliance within a complex IT environment.
  • Three years of experience with Windows Server and desktop platforms.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in small teams.
  • Experience in addressing security and compliance issues, including vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with EDR tools, multi-factor authentication, and identity management solutions.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as CMMC, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001.
  • Strong understanding of information security and privacy standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Office Suite.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Industry certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, or CISM.
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Autopilot and InTune.
  • Involvement in security projects and risk assessment initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with various departments to enhance security posture.
  • Understanding of application security and mobile device management.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 support.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates located in the Western US are preferred.
  • Standard work hours are 40 hours per week, with flexibility as needed.
  • Participation in after-hours maintenance or meetings may be required.

Travel is expected to be approximately 50% of the time, focusing on the Western US.
