MedCura Health, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team. As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients, including prenatal and postpartum education and management, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general health assessments, OB assessments, and physical examinations on low-and high-risk OB patients and fetuses.
  • Manage maternal-fetal complications according to protocol.
  • Provide appropriate prenatal and postpartum education and management for women with low-and high-risk pregnancies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on high-risk OB patients and function as an essential member of the Perinatology team.
  • Work directly with and under the guidance of the physician in an outpatient office and hospital setting.
  • Take call at Emory Midtown.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) required for Nurse Practitioners and Certified Nurse Midwife; no master's degree required for PAs.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an advanced practitioner in a relevant field required.
  • Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine and/or OB clinical nursing preferred.
  • Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
