The Radiology Clinical Coordinator plays a vital role in facilitating patient flow, coordinating procedures, and ensuring collaboration with the healthcare team within and outside of Radiology. This position requires a focus on safety, quality, and service while improving efficiency and minimizing downtime.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating patient flow and coordinating procedures
  • Ensuring collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Improving efficiency and minimizing downtime

Exceptional customer service and communication skills are required for this role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and experience in a leadership or coordination role.

Requirements:

  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT), the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Minimum of 3 years lead/coordinator experience required
  • Previous radiology modality and/or invasive procedure work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of previous supervisory or management experience
  • 7-10 years of previous radiology modality work experience with 3 years in a supervisory or lead/coordinator role
  • Previous work experience in an academic medical center environment

Additional Requirements:

  • Graduation from a JRCNMT Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology recognized by the ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS
  • Must have immediate access to a home phone or cell phone

Additional Position Requirements:

  • Individual shift rotation and schedules will be established with your specific manager or supervisor
  • Schedules, including requirements of shift rotations and hours of work, may be adjusted as necessary to meet staffing needs of the health system
