Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our outpatient clinic, you will provide exceptional patient-centered care, working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient needs.
  • Develop and implement patient plans of care, in collaboration with the healthcare team, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Perform laboratory procedures, administer medications, and assist with procedures and surgeries as needed.
  • Assess and provide patient education, counseling, and support to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of staff orientation, competency, and educational activities.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification, obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including keyboarding, navigation within a windows operating system, and use of electronic medical records systems.
