About the Role

At TotalMed, we are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Transition Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide specialized care for patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical-surgical units.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress and optimize outcomes in the step-down unit.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license
  • BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
  • Two years of recent Step Down experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $1,998.92 per week, plus benefits including 401(k), licensure, relocation, reimbursements, and continuing education opportunities.

In addition, we provide housing support to help you settle into your new location.
