Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing their physical and emotional needs
  • Work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to educate and inform them about treatment options and care plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using electronic documentation systems
  • Participate in discharge planning and ensure seamless transitions between care settings
  • Provide compassionate support and maintain cultural sensitivity in all interactions

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or a Multistate Compact License
  • Preferred: 1 year of critical care experience in an acute care hospital environment
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of starting
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of starting
