Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will play a critical role in driving the financial success and long-term growth of the Company. This high-visibility cross-functional role will work closely with the Finance & Accounting teams and support the C-suite, business unit leaders, and functional leaders to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making.

This position requires a hands-on strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to translate financial data from various sources into actionable business insights. The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will ensure the company's financial health through detailed analyses, robust financial models, and insightful reporting to align with the Company's growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of the Company's financial budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Partner with executive leadership and business unit leaders to produce comprehensive financial analyses and performance reviews that monitor progress against primary objectives.
  • Develop and refine financial models to support major initiatives, including new investments, cost optimization strategies, and the expansion of the company's Commercial businesses.
  • Provide financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Participate in a wide variety of special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a private equity-backed environment and with bank covenant reporting is strongly preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field required.
  • MBA or advanced education or credentials preferred.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in finance required, within roles of increased responsibility.
  • Extensive experience with ERP software platforms.
  • Strong financial modeling, strategic reasoning, and process analysis skills.
  • Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000 salary plus bonus
