We are seeking an experienced Patient Scheduling and Billing Specialist to join our team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As an Access Coordinator III, you will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and managing patient appointments, as well as processing billing and insurance claims.

This role offers a competitive salary, commensurate with education and experience. The estimated annual salary is $60,000 - $70,000.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments, including blocking schedules and canceling/rescheduling appointments as requested.
  • Process walk-ins, create new patient charts, and access systems for orders as appropriate.
  • Inventory, order, and stock supplies; clean and maintain equipment.

A high school diploma, GED, or formal educational equivalent is required, along with three years of experience in customer service or a healthcare environment. Excellent customer service skills, basic proficiency with computers, and data entry are essential.
