Are you a seasoned professional with expertise in airport operations and management? We are seeking an experienced Airport Operations Specialist to join our team at the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport.

About the Role

This is a full-time, hourly position that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. The successful candidate will oversee airport operations, ensuring compliance with FAR Part 139 regulations. They will also conduct regular inspections, prepare discrepancy reports, and respond to emergencies as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as they may be required to travel to various locations on airport property. A four-year degree in Aviation Management or Business Administration is preferred, along with a minimum of two years' experience working in a small or medium hub Part 139 airport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of airport operations to ensure compliance with FAR Part 139 regulations
  • Conducting regular inspections and preparing discrepancy reports
  • Responding to emergencies and following FAA regulation guidance
  • Communicating changes in security procedures to relevant stakeholders
  • Assisting with updating governing certifications and policies
  • Conducting security training and issuing SIDA badges
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must be available for day, evening, and overnight schedules if called-in. They must also have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Benefits
