Position Overview

The Research Funding Administrator plays a crucial role in overseeing a diverse range of sponsored and non-sponsored financial resources for a designated group of Principal Investigators. As part of a dedicated faculty support team, this role is committed to delivering exceptional service to Principal Investigators and their laboratory teams, facilitating their research endeavors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of research funding, ensuring compliance with sponsor and donor regulations, as well as university policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to faculty in the preparation and submission of research proposals.
  • Oversee the financial management of all accounts related to assigned faculty.
  • Act as a liaison between faculty and university administrative offices, as well as federal and private funding agencies.
  • Develop and maintain resources to assist faculty in collaborative proposal development.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned by the Assistant Dean for Research Administration.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required, along with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. A cover letter is necessary for consideration.
