Job Summary

The Helen Ross McNabb Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Master's Level Liaison to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee. As a key member of our school-based mental health team, you will provide counseling and liaison services to children and families in the Knox County School System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions with children and adolescents aged 4-21.
  • Provide advocacy, linkage, and referral services as needed to support clients and their families.
  • Participate in IEP and other school-related meetings to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client interactions and progress.
  • Collaborate with school personnel and other agencies to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to client care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Human Services or a related field with coursework or experience in cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental illness, and intellectual disabilities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and competency in mental health service provision and leadership.
  • One year of experience in a related field, preferably working with children and families.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
  • Valid driver's license and F endorsement for occasional transportation of clients.
