Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Medication Technician to join our team at George Junior Republic. As a Mobile Medication Technician, you will provide in-home support to adults under the direction of our Mobile Medication Nursing Staff. Your primary responsibility will be to assist consumers with the self-administration of medication, while also providing training on health and hygiene methods, infection control procedures, and signs and symptoms of illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-home support to adults with medication management and self-administration
  • Train consumers on health and hygiene methods, infection control procedures, and signs and symptoms of illness
  • Consult with the treatment team to develop transition plans for consumers
  • Have a working knowledge of psychotropic medications and their potential side effects
Requirements
  • High School education or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience serving seriously mentally ill adults
