Clinical Research Assistant 2

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Assistant 2 to join our team at Connecticut Children's. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing clinical research projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing excellent customer service to our research participants.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage clinical research projects, including study visits, data collection, and sample processing.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including IRB approvals, informed consent, and data safety and monitoring plans.
- Provide excellent customer service to research participants, including answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with research staff, including principal investigators, to achieve project objectives and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Develop and maintain databases and tracking systems to ensure accurate and efficient data collection and management.
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, plus a minimum of three years of clinical research laboratory experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and self-motivation.
- Knowledge of research protocols, principles, and procedures, including ethics and regulatory requirements.
- Master's degree in a healthcare-related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with clinical trials, including screening, interviewing, and case report forms.
- Knowledge of experimental design, mathematics, statistics, and computer applications.
- Ability to work with hazardous materials, including Safe-Pack training for shipping.
