Dietary Aide 2 Position

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide 2 to join our team at Connecticut Children's. As a Dietary Aide 2, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and maintain assigned stations in the kitchen, cafeteria, and patient feeding areas.
- Prepare, portion, and assemble patient and non-patient food items.
- Deliver patient trays to clinical areas and communicate with patient care teams to identify needs.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, tables, counters, and floors.
- Assist with cash register operations, including reconciling cash drawers and recording sales.
- Remove trash and transport it to disposal areas.
- Adhere to sanitation procedures and maintain a safe environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to maintain a friendly and efficient attitude towards customers, coworkers, and clients.
- Effective communication and math skills.
- Ability to work well under time constraints.
