Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation during work hours.
  • Ability to work autonomously while effectively managing time and prioritizing tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in organizational tasks.
  • Capacity to adapt to the evolving needs of program participants.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills characterized by patience, empathy, and a positive demeanor.
  • Experience in building respectful and collaborative relationships.
  • Minimum age requirement of twenty-one years.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and during crises.
  • Familiarity with local community resources is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Personal experience with mental health challenges, substance use, or trauma.
  • Previous advocacy or peer support experience is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Certification as a Recovery Coach is preferred.
