Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive lifestyle program that meets the interests and needs of our residents
  • Coordinate with other associates to plan and execute special events and activities
  • Conduct surveys to determine resident preferences and interests
  • Oversee transportation of residents for recreational and medical outings
  • Recruit, train, and supervise department staff
  • Manage the department within budgetary guidelines and track inventory
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and report any issues or concerns
Requirements:
  • AA degree or Bachelor's degree in Gerontology, Kinesiology, Recreation Therapy, or Health Promotion
  • Minimum of two to four years of experience in developing and implementing lifestyle programs for seniors
  • Minimum one year of supervisory experience
  • First Aid/CPR/BLS Certification
  • Background clearances as required by government regulations
