Job Overview

Hendy Associates is seeking a seasoned Healthcare Studio Director to lead our creative team in delivering exceptional design solutions for corporate work environments.

This is a unique opportunity to join a passionate team of architects and designers who are dedicated to transforming open space into elevated human experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership to the interior architecture and design team
  • Manage the design process from programming to production, ensuring design excellence and client satisfaction
  • Represent Hendy at client meetings and presentations, building strong relationships and driving business growth
  • Collaborate with senior management on business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and driving revenue growth
  • Contribute to the recruitment of new talent for the office, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
Requirements
  • 15+ years of professional experience in healthcare design, with a proven track record of leading large-scale projects
  • Bachelor or master's degree in Architecture, with a strong understanding of building codes and regulations
  • Experience with OSHPD/HCAI projects, with a working knowledge of project methodologies and project lifecycle
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a deadline-intensive environment
  • LEED and/or WELL accreditation a plus, as we are committed to sustainable design and resilient communities
