Commercial HVAC Sales Executive

CareerPaths NW is seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to capitalize on sales opportunities within assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow an assigned territory or group of accounts, including building owners, end-users, and property managers.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to capitalize on all sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct cold calls to prospective clients to promote Scheduled Service Agreements.
  • Perform needs assessments and develop customized sales proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and other internal and external resources to secure sales.
  • Follow through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion and smooth sales-to-operations transitions.
  • Assist in resolving customer satisfaction issues and collections as necessary.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers, recommending suitable resolutions to problems involving the company's products and services.
  • Utilize sales software to generate sales activity reports, forecast reports, and track expenses.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of sales-related work experience.
  • Moderate technical and financial expertise related to HVAC.
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle.
  • Understanding of HVAC, energy management, engineering, installation, and construction procedures.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical plans and specifications.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and computer skills.
  • Associate degree in engineering, business, or a similar field with 2-4 years of related work experience.
  • Relevant credentials such as LEED GA/AP, CEM, FE, or PE are a plus.
