Job Summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Contract to Hire B2B Collections Specialist to join our team. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for working with internal and external customers to perform collection and billing functions to support the collections team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, solid collection and analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. If you have a strong background in collections, billing, or accounts receivable, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging for all overdue accounts
  • Communicate with customers daily with delinquent accounts via email and/or phone and attempt to secure payment to settle open accounts
  • Research discrepancies and help to settle disputes asap
  • Maintain detailed logs of customer interactions, and customer status
  • Send customer copies of invoices and credit memos upon request
  • Assist and resolve customers billing questions
  • Evaluate credit applications and financial documents to determine creditworthiness
  • Analyze credit reports, financial statements, and payment history
Requirements
  • High school diploma (college degree a plus)
  • 3 + years collections/billing or accounts receivable experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Solid collection, analytical, and reconciliation skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting with minimal supervision
  • Great attention to detail with strong time management skills
  • Solid excel experience
