About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer (PE) to join our team at Barge Design Solutions, Inc. as a Site Design Specialist. As a key member of our civil site design team, you will be responsible for leading projects from concept to completion, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead civil site design projects, including preparation of grading, drainage, site layout, utility, and erosion control plans.
  • Collaborate with project managers to provide technical input and guidance for client conversations and multi-discipline design meetings.
  • Review and provide feedback on the work of other team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Prepare reports, specifications, plans, permits, and designs for projects.
  • Attend client meetings and provide presentations as needed.
  • Conduct site visits for construction observation and quality control purposes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, with a focus on civil site design.
  • Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D for surface creation and underground utility modeling.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
