Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist Specialist

At Disability Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our team. This is a $140,000 - $160,000 per year opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and communities.

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist Specialist who can provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services related to a specific area of practice. You will be responsible for optimizing safe, efficacious, and cost-effective drug therapy in accordance with regulatory agencies. Your expertise will serve as a pharmacotherapy expert member of an interdisciplinary patient care team, providing direct patient care, performing pharmacotherapy consults, and educating patients and other team members.

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services related to a specific area of practice
• Optimize safe, efficacious, and cost-effective drug therapy in accordance with regulatory agencies
• Serve as a pharmacotherapy expert member of an interdisciplinary patient care team
• Provide direct patient care, perform pharmacotherapy consults, and educate patients and other team members

Requirements:
• A Pharm.D. degree or a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited Postgraduate Year Two (PGY2) Pharmacy Residency with at least 1 year of experience in a specialty area or equivalent experience
• Current Pharmacy and Pharmacy Preceptor licensure, or eligibility for licensure, in the state of Texas
• Certification by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (as appropriate to specialty), approved certification or advanced degree
