Aviation Account/Sales Director Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to drive sales growth and lead a team of professionals in the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate goals and revenue targets.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the aviation industry.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals with both existing and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective sales campaigns.
  • Provide expert knowledge on rotables, aircraft components, and parts inventory to clients.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the aviation industry.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports to inform management decisions.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote our company's services.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in aviation sales, business development, rotables, aircraft components, and parts inventory.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional negotiation and deal-making skills.
  • Strong understanding of the aviation industry, including market trends and competitor activity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed business decisions.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
