We are currently seeking a Lead Procurement Analyst to enhance our operations. This role is crucial for overseeing the supply chain and logistics strategies while fostering strong relationships with our suppliers to meet organizational goals, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor supplier performance and risk, ensuring they meet quality and delivery standards through various evaluation methods, including site visits and performance metrics.
  • Utilize independent judgment to cultivate and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
  • Facilitate supplier meetings to address and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, and pricing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and qualify new suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers, focusing on long-term agreements to optimize savings.
  • Promote continuous improvement in supplier performance and internal processes through metrics and root cause analysis.
  • Work with various departments to address production requirements and ensure timely communication with suppliers.
  • Manage daily purchasing activities based on requisitions, ensuring compliance with quality and delivery specifications.
  • Review and follow up on purchase orders, addressing any discrepancies and reporting issues to management.
  • Monitor procurement activities and implement necessary improvements in collaboration with the purchasing department.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
