Onsite Medical Records Processing Specialist (Part-Time)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Onsite Medical Records Processing Specialist. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the healthcare industry.
Main Responsibilities:
- Timely Request Fulfillment: Complete all incoming medical records requests within established timeframes to ensure efficient processing and accurate results.
- Data Quality Assurance: Maintain 100% ROI accuracy by verifying data and ensuring its confidentiality, security, and proper invoicing.
- Priority Requests: Process STATs within one hour and meet a 24-hour turnaround time for other ROI requests to maintain exceptional customer service standards.
- Queue Management: Keep all queues current and up-to-date to prevent delays and optimize productivity.
- Request Validation: Validate incoming requests and authorize the release of PHI according to established procedures to ensure compliance and confidentiality.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks on all work to guarantee accuracy, confidentiality, and proper invoicing.
- Confidentiality and Ethics: Maintain confidentiality, security, and standards of ethics with medical records information during transport, storage, and disposal.
- Additional Tasks: Complete legal affidavits and questions as needed, regularly scan ROI requests into charts, and avoid abuse of HealthMark and client-specific ROI policies.
- Personal Professionalism: Maintain a neat, clean, and professional personal appearance and adhere to the dress code, ensuring a clean and orderly workspace and properly storing records before leaving the area.
- Facility Updates: Update facility guides as needed to reflect changes and improvements.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by being attentive and respectful, following through on commitments, and proactively de-escalating potential issues.
- Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with customers and strive for maximum satisfaction.

Compensation:
