About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Billing Specialist to join our team at Alpha Internal Medicine in Fayetteville, Georgia. This is a full-time position that offers excellent pay and benefits for experienced professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of proven medical management experience, with expertise in troubleshooting unpaid claims, providing exceptional customer service, and navigating insurance plans. Proficiency in EPIC EMR is mandatory.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage and optimize the revenue cycle process to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  2. Analyze and resolve complex billing issues, including denied claims and payment discrepancies.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
  4. Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement process improvements.
  5. Serve as a subject matter expert in medical billing and coding best practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management.
  • Proven track record of successfully resolving complex billing issues.
  • Expertise in EPIC EMR and knowledge of Medicare, Medicare Advantage, HMOs, and PPOs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
What We Offer
