We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Development Coordinator to join our team at WGA Consulting Engineers. As a key member of our Site Development Department, you will be responsible for overseeing, planning, and coordinating a wide range of entitlement, scheduling, estimating, engineering, platting, and construction management tasks and activities.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management
- Manage Site Development projects, including planning, coordinating, organizing, scheduling, and monitoring work and project progress.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to attain project entitlements, plan approval, plat recordation, and project closeout.
- Control and report on project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining the integrity of schedules.
- Communication and Liaison
- Maintain active liaison with developers, project managers, consultants, and contractors.
- Coordinate project development activities with other internal departments and outside agencies.
- Communicate with clients to determine project objectives and ensure their needs are met as projects evolve.
- Administrative Support
- Assist in conducting research, composing memos and letters, and preparing presentations to include materials for management, City Council, and the public for purposes of legislative, municipal, or community relations.
- Prepare presentations to update senior management on project progress and showcase project value.
- Delegating specific tasks to team members when appropriate.
- Quality Assurance and Control
- Ensure that clients' needs are met as projects evolve.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
- Work with the Project Manager to eliminate conflicts and roadblocks to success.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
- Bachelor's degree, preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant experience within the Civil Engineering industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
