Job Summary
The Site Development Coordinator position is a key role in our Site Development Department, responsible for overseeing, planning, and coordinating a wide range of entitlement, scheduling, estimating, engineering, platting, and construction management tasks and activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Site Development projects, including planning, coordinating, organizing, scheduling, and monitoring work and project progress.
- Maintain active liaison with developers, project managers, consultants, and contractors.
- Coordinate project development activities with other internal departments and outside agencies.
- Respond to client requests in a professional and timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in conducting research, composing memos and letters, and preparing presentations for management, City Council, and the public.
- Conduct research and prepare materials to assist with implementation of strategic priorities and visions.
- Assist in developing departmental methods and procedures by creating, maintaining, and updating databases, spreadsheets, and other organizational tools.
- Attend meetings at job sites, City or County offices, City or County Council meetings for specific projects and general site development knowledge.
- Assist with review, quality control, and coordination of submittal packages, including permit applications, consultant studies, plans, plats, easements, and other project-related documents.
- Attend submittal meetings or pick-ups/drop-offs.
- Engage in maintaining the company's electronic and hard copy file structures and ongoing organizational needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant experience within the Civil Engineering industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
