Job Overview

The Motorcycle Sales Consultant plays a vital role in promoting and selling our motorcycle inventory while adhering to dealership profit, volume, and customer satisfaction benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

4. **Delivery Process**: Ensure a seamless delivery experience, explaining the motorcycle's features, warranty, and necessary paperwork to foster customer loyalty.

5. **Goal Setting**: Establish personal income goals aligned with dealership productivity standards and develop strategies to achieve them.

6. **Communication**: Regularly report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, and performance reviews.

7. **Inventory Knowledge**: Stay informed about incoming inventory, features, and accessories to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.

8. **Collaboration**: Work closely with the service department to ensure timely reconditioning of vehicles.

9. **Continuous Learning**: Attend sales meetings and training sessions provided by the dealership and manufacturers.

10. **Prospect Development**: Maintain a robust prospect development system and follow-up process to encourage repeat and referral business.

11. **Performance Review**: Analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly performance to enhance time management and planning.

12. **Industry Knowledge**: Understand automotive terminology and stay updated on technological advancements in the industry.

13. **Legal Compliance**: Be knowledgeable about federal, state, and local laws governing retail motorcycle sales.

14. **Service Introduction**: Introduce customers to service department personnel to highlight the quality of service and maintenance available.

15. **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all company safety policies and promptly report any incidents to management.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Ability to comprehend instructions and information.
3. Valid in-state driver's license.
4. Professional appearance and demeanor.
5. Strong communication skills.
6. Ability to meet sales quotas as per dealership standards.
7. Authorization to work in the USA.
8. Capability to pass pre-employment assessments including background checks and drug tests.
