To maintain our trajectory of success, we are looking for a Warehouse Forklift Specialist. This role is essential in supporting our warehouse operations and production by efficiently transferring, storing, rotating, picking, and shipping materials, both physically and through our ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely and professionally.
  • Assist in the training and development of new warehouse personnel.
  • Organize and fulfill orders based on requested shipping dates, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain precise inventory records and manage stock levels within the warehouse, conducting cycle counts as necessary.
  • Utilize the company ERP system to replenish, restock, and rotate finished goods and materials, adhering to FIFO practices.
  • Prepare documentation for warehouse and drop ship orders.
  • Transfer supplies between departments to meet production and shipping needs.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of all materials and finished products.
  • Report any non-compliant items to management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in compliance with cGMP standards.
  • Adhere to all ISO standards.
  • Support company and branch performance metrics.
  • Embody the values of Berlin Packaging in daily operations.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations and forklift operation.
  • Must complete and pass the Company Forklift Certification program to operate forklifts in line with safety guidelines.
  • Ability to operate all powered industrial trucks while adhering to safe work practices.
  • Strong attention to detail for tasks such as scanning, picking, packing, and problem-solving.
  • Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
  • Capability to train new employees on operational processes.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
  • Positive attitude that contributes to a collaborative team environment.
  • Self-motivated and reliable, with a focus on results.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Must be able to frequently lift and move boxes weighing up to 20 lbs and occasionally lift or move boxes and pallets weighing up to 45 lbs within the warehouse.
