In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for assisting in the shipping and receiving areas while also taking on the duties of a Water Spider, ensuring that production lines are consistently supplied with necessary materials.

Work Schedule: 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime as needed to complete daily tasks.

Compensation: $16.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage material handling tasks including shipping and receiving.
  • Demonstrate strong forklift operation skills, prioritizing safety at all times.
  • Complete necessary training related to hazardous waste management and participate in annual refresher courses.
  • Contribute to team efforts to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Adapt to a flexible work schedule to meet production needs, including potential overtime.
  • Operate equipment in compliance with safety guidelines.
  • Document transactions accurately and possess basic computer skills.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and focus on achieving team objectives.
  • Engage in required training sessions and actively participate in team initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with incoming shifts regarding ongoing issues and schedules.
  • Perform additional duties as required in the Water Spider capacity.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Proven reliability with a strong attendance and safety record.
  • Ability to lift weights ranging from 25 to 40 pounds.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic with a positive mindset.
  • Successful completion of drug and background checks is required.

Required Experience:

  • Forklift operation experience.
  • Background in material handling.
  • Experience in shipping and receiving processes.
  • Familiarity with machine operation is preferred.
