Job Overview

Position Summary: The Branch Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing the management and strategic direction of the branch, ensuring effective revenue generation while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high productivity standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct daily branch operations to meet financial objectives.
  • Oversee and manage the complete Profit and Loss (P&L) for the branch.
  • Engage in financial planning, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Analyze daily and weekly performance reports to drive business success.
  • Supervise the utilization of the branch's rental fleet.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Facilitate training and development for branch employees.
  • Process requisition requests for open positions and provide feedback to Human Resources.
  • Conduct performance reviews for new employees at 60 and 90 days.
  • Manage employee time and attendance through the company’s Human Capital Management system.
  • Coordinate internal transitions within the branch efficiently.
  • Collaborate with corporate HR on disciplinary actions and necessary documentation.
  • Work closely with the Director of Health, Safety, and Environment to uphold safety protocols and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee inventory levels and manage cycle counts.
  • Champion organizational change initiatives as directed by senior leadership.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility to work extended hours to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Team-oriented with experience in high-performance environments.
  • Commitment to organizational values is essential.
  • Experience in pump integrity and testing is preferred.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ERP/Power BI is advantageous.
  • Able to independently address challenges at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of achieving results through others.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience required.

Physical Requirements: The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. The position may require occasional lifting or pushing/pulling of up to 50 lbs, corrected vision to 20/20 in one eye, and the ability to tolerate prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
