Air General Travel Services Specialist

Air General, a renowned national cargo handling company and passenger services provider, is seeking a highly skilled Travel Services Specialist at our Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport location (DCA). This role involves acting as a ground host/hostess or concierge, providing exceptional assistance to travelers, and ensuring a seamless airport experience.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Create a positive passenger experience by greeting them warmly and facilitating a smooth check-in and ticketing process
- Utilize specialized reservation/ticketing software to rebook itineraries, issue boarding passes, and calculate fees accurately
- Communicate vital information about flights and baggage to passengers in a clear and timely manner
- Collaborate with the internal Coordinator team to ensure accurate processing of passenger information and on-time flight departures
- Resolve passenger issues promptly and professionally, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Maintain excellent communication with the Baggage Service Office to track baggage locations and address passenger inquiries

Requirements and Qualifications- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings, background checks, and airport/government security clearance
- Must possess fluency in spoken and written English
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, is required
The estimated salary for this position is approximately $82 per 3-hour event, with variable assignments and opportunities for growth within the company.
