Respiratory Care Specialist II

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist Hosp II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in various states of health and illness.
This is a critical role that requires excellent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide direct patient care, instruction, and preparation for continuing care after discharge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy from a CoARC-accredited program
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a Respiratory Therapist at Rutland Regional Medical Center
- Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Current VT State license
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association
- Certification in ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 60 days of hire
- Registration as a Respiratory Therapist (does not apply to therapists hired prior to 12/31/03)
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $27.05 - $39.98 per hour, with a hiring bonus of $10,000. Additionally, we offer differential rates for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
