Job Summary

Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a qualified candidate with training in adult epilepsy, clinical neurophysiology, general neurology, and clinical research. The successful candidate will be appointed at a faculty level commensurate with experience and achievement.

Key Responsibilities
  • EEG interpretation and epilepsy surgery-related neurophysiology studies
  • Out-patient epilepsy clinics, including experience in epilepsy surgery and implantable device candidates
  • Research: Opportunity to develop a clinical research program related to epilepsy
  • Education responsibilities: The candidate will interact with learners at various levels from Baylor College of Medicine education programs, participate in assigned clinical activities, and engage in bedside teaching activities
Requirements
  • MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree
  • Residency training in adult neurology in an ACGME-accredited program and training in epilepsy and in clinical neurophysiology in ACGME-accredited programs
  • Board-eligible/board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in adult neurology, in epilepsy, and in clinical neurophysiology
