About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Activities Assistant to join our team at Saint Joseph Village in Freeport, IL. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting patient care plans through activity-based programs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments of activity needs to meet individual treatment goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate and participate in activity-related projects and events.
  • Keep treatment areas clean, safe, and organized.
  • Perform clerical tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration:
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Heart Saver AED obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Education:
    • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Additional Preferences:
    • Certified Direct Support Person (DSP) or CNA.
