Vessel Maintenance Manager

Job Overview:
The Deck Officer at McDermott International is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the vessel in a clean and sanitary condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of Able Body Seamen and Ordinary Seamen to ensure efficient and effective vessel maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards for vessel maintenance and operations.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize vessel performance.
- Collaborate with the Chief Mate to ensure seamless vessel operations and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively supervise and coordinate the work of deck crew members.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
