Job Title: Electronics Technician

Leonardo Electronics US Inc is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support for ongoing manufacturing, engineering, and related technical projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, test, and certify complex assemblies, subassemblies, parts, and systems for compliance with specifications and quality assurance practices.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions in complex equipment and perform repairs by adjusting, calibrating, aligning, or modifying circuitry and components.
  • Set up standard test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, and environmental and life tests.
  • Review and edit technical reports and manuals, and develop and revise charts, graphs, and schematics to describe and illustrate systems operating characteristics.
  • Arrange transportation for shipment of parts, equipment, and material to various operations.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, systems troubleshooting, fault isolation/diagnosis, and the ability to read, comprehend, and follow technical data.
  • 3 years of experience in electronic systems repair.
  • Associates Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent 3 years of professional experience.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical and optical assemblies.
  • Experience in reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience in working with tools and soldering.
  • Experience in electro-optic avionics repair.
Work Conditions:
  • Standard lab environment.
  • Exposures encountered - hazardous materials, loud noise, and laser energy.
  • Essential physical requirements, standing, sitting, stooping, and typing.
  • Physical effort/lifting, medium - up to 50 pounds.
