Job Title: PDU Assembly Technician

Intermountain Electronics, Inc. is seeking a skilled PDU Assembly Technician to join our team. As a PDU Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical assemblies and attaching electrical components, as well as performing basic wiring functions on electrical equipment in a production line of high volume quantities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble mechanical assemblies and attach electrical components
  • Perform basic wiring functions on electrical equipment
  • Work under the direction of Electrical and Mechanical Lead Technician or PDU Assembly Supervisor
  • Follow and interpret technical assembly prints to build mechanical assemblies
  • Position, align, or adjust mechanical work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience working on industrial electrical distribution equipment or similar industry preferred
  • Ability to read and understand basic wiring schematics and layout diagrams
  • Experience with various hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, drills, and electrical testing equipment (DVOM) preferred
Work Environment:

As a PDU Assembly Technician, you will work in a fast-paced production environment with a team of skilled technicians. You will be required to lift up to 75 lbs., push/pull up to 100 lbs., and stand and walk for extended periods.
