Kellogg Community Credit Union is seeking a dedicated Chief Information Officer to enhance our team.

As the Chief Information Officer, you will take charge of managing the credit union's technological framework and information system assets. Your role will involve formulating both immediate and future technology strategies to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and innovative technological solutions for the credit union. You will lead the IT and business intelligence teams to ensure the successful provision of information and tools to the entire KCCU Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, coordinate, and manage all facets of the Credit Union's technology framework and information systems.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to establish both short- and long-term technology objectives while providing the necessary leadership to drive revenue growth and other organizational goals through technology.
  • Guide the strategic direction and execution of efficient and secure systems that are cost-effective and meet member service and decision-making needs.
  • Assess project feasibility studies based on management's requirements, priorities, and budget constraints.
  • Investigate industry trends in technology to ensure the credit union's IT infrastructure and equipment are sufficient to meet member demands and align with the strategic plan.
  • Support the credit union's mission by ensuring effective member services, fostering team development, and continuously improving internal systems and processes.
  • Oversee the installation and operation of information technology systems and ensure the necessary equipment is connected and functional.
  • Ensure compliance with all Credit Union policies and procedures and provide guidance on technology-related concerns.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with both internal and external members.

Qualifications:

  • Ten to fifteen years of relevant experience.
  • A bachelor's degree with professional certification, or a master's degree.
  • Willingness to travel and work from the designated office on a regular basis.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and influence team members.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on risk assessment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, proficient computer skills, and excellent time management abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with others regularly and cultivate relationships.
