**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Banking Associate to join our team at Somerset Savings Bank SLA. As a Banking Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing banking transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide friendly and efficient customer service in person and over the telephone
* Process banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and check item redemption
* Balance currency, coin, and checks in the cash drawer daily and prepare corresponding proof sheets
* Maintain current knowledge of all position-related procedures and compliance
* Actively suggest and sell products and services to new and existing customers

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Previous banking experience preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
