Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ramp Operations Trainer Lead to join our team at Unifi Aviation, LLC. As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for assisting our trainers in delivering high-quality training programs to ensure our employees are properly trained on all relevant tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Assistance: Assist trainers with training classes to ensure that Unifi employees are properly trained on all relevant tasks.
  • Curriculum Development: Assist with ensuring that current training curriculums and supporting training materials are up to date and the training resources are available to complete all required training.
  • Record Retention: Assist with record retention is being completed per company guidelines.
  • Automated Training System: Assist with Updates and administers the automated training record keeping system(s).
  • Audit and Compliance: Assist with Audits of Training records and appropriately resolves any discrepancies.
  • Training Needs Assessment: Assist in determining training needs within the station.
  • Reporting: Assist with Preparing reports for distribution detailing training activity and/or training areas that require improvement or correction.
  • Additional Duties: Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
Requirements
  • Local Residency: Must be a local (in-state) resident.
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid In-State Driver's License.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and up to a 10-year background check.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Work Authorization: Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • Airport Security: Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Four+ years of relevant experience.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership qualities and ability to create a passionate and efficient workforce.
  • Communication Skills: Able to communicate information and instructions verbally and/or via radio equipment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to apply creative solutions that have a positive impact on results.
  • Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: You will need to have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. We operate in a shift bid environment.
  • Work Environment: Must be aware and alert for moving vehicles and aircraft.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift / carry / push / pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
  • Physical Abilities: Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.
  • Workplace Hazards: Must be able to work in cramped or high places and carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervision experience preferred.
